Learn to cook the best New Orleans food from the pros! At the New Orleans School of Cooking you can watch the chefs in action and learn from the best as you sit in on a free cooking demonstration class of some of the typical Louisiana dishes and the local’s most-loved.

From Gumbo, Jambalaya and Pralines, to Corn & Crab Bisque, or even Crawfish Etouffe and Chicken Creole – there’s something to suite all palettes! It’s a great way to learn the local flavors and delicacies of New Orleans cuisine.

Fun Facts:

• The Creole/Cajun ‘holy trinity’ is made up of bell peppers, onion, and celery

Walk-ups are available, based on availability for the 2:00 pm class. A credit card will be required to hold your reservation, but you will only be charged if you are a no-show. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance.
